Jack Trama

I'm Jack Trama.

For more than twenty-five years, I've sat with entrepreneurs in the moment a big decision turns into a commitment—when logic says "go," but doubt steps in.

I spent years as a business broker, guiding people through buying and selling companies, and I saw deals that looked solid fall apart in the final stretch—sometimes because the numbers didn't hold up, and other times because the commitment required came with a level of responsibility people weren't ready to take on.

Over the last decade, I've seen the same pattern show up as entrepreneurs invest in their growth—through training, coaching, and growth engines, everything from done-for-you offers to trading platforms. The price tag changes, but the hesitation looks the same.

The process often starts the same way: research, comparison, and the attempt to get it right. The details get reviewed, the numbers get scrutinized, and the question of whether this is really the one gets reopened more than once.

That's usually when things slow down.

By then, the issue isn't information. It's the shift that comes with committing—investing money, taking on risk, or handing over some control.

That shift matters more than when you do it or what it costs you—because it changes who you are after you decide.

I created Decisive Move for that exact moment—getting decisions finished.

The Overthinking Tax™ breaks down the patterns behind delay—why more research erodes confidence in what already made sense, how comparison turns "does this work for me?" into an endless ranking exercise, and why waiting stretches the timeline without resolving anything.

Decide in 5™ is a decision framework built around pre-set criteria and a fixed timeline—so decisions get made without reopening the same debate or second-guessing what was already clear.

The podcast breaks down real decisions as they happen—where they stall, where they turn, and what finally moves them across the line.

I also work one-on-one with entrepreneurs on the decisions that are sitting at almost done — and need to get there.
